Erlend Øye ist ja schon einige Jahre einer meiner Lieblingskünstler. Ich erinnere mich an das grandiose DJ-Kicks Album, dann kam The Whitest Boy Alive und ich war völlig hin und weg. Und natürlich hörte ich jeden Track, den ich von ihm finden konnte, auch die Kings of Convenience Alben und seine Kooperationen mit anderen Künstlern. Aber dieser Track Crush mit Palmy, der bereits im April 2012 veröffentlicht wurde ging gänzlich an mir vorbei. Liegt wahrscheinlich daran, dass die thailändisch-belgische Popsängerin Palmy aka Eve Pancharoen primär im asiatischen Raum auftritt. Vielleicht ist deshalb auch „Crush“ in keinem der üblichen Streaming-Dienste zu finden.
Der Leichtigkeit dieses kleinen feinen Liedes kann man sich nicht entziehen. Und das Video ist auch wunderbar „Schubidu“ 🙂
